BMW Concept Car Active Tourer

With a length of 4,353 mm, a width of 1,834 and a total height of 1,560 mm, the BMW Active Concept Tourer offers good wheelbase, 2,670 mm, and a high line of ceiling which ensures a wide and versatile habitability . In addition, its trunk is not penalized by the hybrid system's batteries as they are located under the cargo floor.

The exterior maintains the unmistakable aesthetic of BMW. In the cabin there is room but also elegance.
The wood interior is innovative hith wood and premium leather. The orange seams give a youthful and casual touch .

The cockpit is ergonomically oriented towards the driver. If you wish you may receive a glass surface between the steering wheel and windshield, which is projected on the color image of the virtual screen. One of the cherries is in the multi-function display that serves as a dashboard.
The center console between the two front seats, seems suspended in air, to provide more space for the feet of the driver and passenger


The BMW Concept Car Active Tourer has a gasoline engine TwinPower Turbo 1,500 cc three-cylinder paired with an electric engine that reaches an output of 190 hp. The gasoline engine is not acting on the rear wheels, as is usual in Bmw, it does so on the front wheels.
The power does on the rear axle and is able to propel the car by itself, without the intervention of the combustion engine.


With this technology, the Bmw Active Tourer Concept accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in under eight seconds with a top speed of 200 km / h. While the average consumption is below 2.5 liters per 100 kilometers and CO2 emissions do not reach 60 grams per kilometer.

The Active Tourer Concept provides a range of more than 30 miles withe only the electric engine. Furthermore, the synchronous electric enginepower can be utilized further by the function "boost". The maximum torque of 200 Nm is available from the moment the car is in motion.
